Please join us on Thanksgiving for our Annual Run Turkey Run 5K. A long-standing Thanksgiving tradition in Hamden, there is no better way to start your Thanksgiving Day than running or walking a 5K with family, friends and the community. Make it a 4-F day Family, Food, Football & a Five K. (A bit of a stretch but you get the point).
Whether this is your first 5K or you have done this race every year, we welcome you and encourage you to dress for the occasion. From turkey hats to tutus and even full turkey and pilgrim costumes, its sure to be fun for all ages and a great way to get in a little exercise before the eating begins.
Our race begins nice and early (7:30 am) so it wont interfere with any of the days other activities.
