Get ready for an exciting day of running and community spirit at the 40th Corrida de Los Locos in beautiful Santa Fe, New Mexico! This vibrant event will take place on Saturday, March 1st, 2025, starting at the Municipal Recreation Sports Complex. Runners can look forward to a thrilling 5-mile race beginning at 8:00 AM, with a delightful Kids 1-mile Fun Run kicking off at 9:15 AM, right after the 5-mile race concludes.
Participants will enjoy stunning views of the Jemez Mountains and the Sangre de Cristo Mountains on this scenic out-and-back course. Registration opens at 7 AM, and early birds who sign up by February 9th will receive a stylish race shirt. Post-race festivities include snacks and awards at 9:30 AM for the top finishers in various categories. For those who can’t make it in person, a virtual race option is available from February 23 to February 28, 2025. Join us for a day filled with fun, fitness, and the chance to support local scholarships for aspiring student-athletes!

RACE NUMBER PICKUP WILL BE AT THE MUNICIPAL RECREATION SPORTS COMPLEX SOFTBALL CONCESSION STAND STARTING AT 7:15 AM 7:50 AM
5-mile race starts at 8:00 AM
Kids 1-mile Fun Run starts at 9:15 AM / when 5 mile race is over

ACROSS THE STREET FROM THE RUGBY PITCH.
The race will start and finish at the Municipal Recreation Sports Complex, 205 Caja Del Rio Rd, Santa Fe, NM 87507. We will have wonderful views of the Jemez Mountains and the Sangre de Cristo mountains. The course will be an out and back course.
Parking for the Corrida will be at the MRSC softball field #5.

BENEFICIARY
The Santa Fe Striders are proud to offer scholarships to graduating seniors who meet the selection criteria. Additional scholarship information can be found on our website www.SantaFeStriders.org [https://www.SantaFeStriders.org].
Santa Fe Striders Scholarships are awarded to eligible graduating high school seniors from north-central New Mexico who participated in track (running events) and/or cross country. Applicant must be accepted to a 2 or 4 year College. If you would like to help support the scholarship program, please consider an extra donation of $10-$20, or whatever you can afford, to help these promising young student-athletes.
SHIRTS AND AWARDS
Register before February 9th to receive a race shirt.
Post-race snacks immediately following the race.
Awards will be distributed about 9:30 am - Top 3 Male, Female and Nonbinary Overall.
Age group awards - Male & Female - 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+
Virtual runners will NOT be eligible for age group awards.
