Get ready for a festive and invigorating start to your Thanksgiving with the 2025 Green Turkey Trot! On Thursday, November 27, 2025, join fellow runners and walkers at Green Memorial Stadium in Uniontown, Summit, for the 13th Annual Turkey Trot. This exciting event features a 5K Run/Walk starting at 8:00 AM and a 1-Mile Fun Run beginning at 7:30 AM, making it perfect for participants of all ages and fitness levels.
Not only will you enjoy a fun-filled morning, but you'll also be supporting a great cause—raising funds for college scholarships for Green High School seniors. With a goal of capping the race at 650 participants, be sure to register early to secure your spot. Pre-registration ends on November 26th, and all pre-registered participants will receive a free long-sleeve performance shirt. Don’t forget to bring canned goods for tickets to the prize drawing and help those in need through the Akron-Canton Foodbank. Lace up your running shoes and join the Green community for a morning of health, fun, and gratitude!

The Green Professionals Association (GPA) presents its 13th Annual Turkey Trot 5K Run/Walk and 1-Mile Fun Run. Please join us on Thanksgiving Morning!
We will cap this race at 650 runners, so please register early.
The Turkey Trot raises money for college scholarships for Green High School seniors. To date, GPA has donated $41,000 in college scholarships to Green High School seniors.
Event Details:
Event: 5K Run/Walk and 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk
Where: 1737 Steese Road., Green, Ohio, 44685. This is at the Green Memorial Stadium. Exit Route 241 at Steese Rd. Please park at the stadium before 7:20am. The school parking lots will be closed for the day. All traffic after 7:20 will be directed to Town Park Center.
When: Thursday, November 27, 2025, at 7:30AM (1 mile) and 8:00AM (5K).
Costs:
$30 Preregistered for 5K (Pre-Registration ends on Wednesday, November 26th @ 10:00 AM);
$35 Race Day for 5K (Race Day Registration starts on Wednesday, November 26th @ 10:01 AM);
$15 for Preregistered for 1-Mile Fun Run (Pre-Registration ends on Wednesday, November 26th @ 10:00 AM); and
$20 for Race Day 1-Mile Fun Run (Race Day Registration starts on Wednesday, November 26th @ 10:01 AM).
All PRE-REGISTERED participants will receive a free long-sleeve performance shirt. Shirts are not guaranteed for Race Day registrations.
Packet Pick-Up:
"Night Before" registration & packet pickup is from at 5:00 pm 7:00 pm on November 26th. Night before registration & packet pickup is strongly encouraged.
"Night Before" registration & packet pickup will be at Cleveland Clinic Akron General Health & Wellness Center, Lifestyles in Green, 1946 Town Park Blvd, Uniontown, from 5 pm until 7 pm.
Each person who picks up their packet at Lifestyles during the "Night Before" registration & packet pickup will be able to utilize Lifestyles' facilities on November 26th, as well as receive a free 2-day pass that can be used anytime before January 1, 2026.
"Race Day" registration & packet pickup is from 6:30 am 7:30 am on November 27th at Green Memorial Stadium located at:

Awards : 5K: Prizes for top 3 Male & Female in each class and top 3 Male & Female Overall. Age brackets are-14 & under, 15-18, 19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 & up. 1 Mile: Top 4 finishers.
**There will be a drawing for other prizes at the end of the race. Bring CANNED GOODS for tickets!! All canned food will be donated to the Akron-Canton Foodbank.
