Get ready for a day of fun and community spirit at the 2026 Celtic Classic 5K, happening on Saturday, September 26th, 2026, in the beautiful city of Bethlehem, Northampton. This exciting 5K run kicks off the vibrant Tartan Parade, and participants are highly encouraged to don their finest kilts and plaid attire—bonus points if you bring along some bagpipes! The race begins at 11:25 AM, following a morning of registration and packet pickup at the Bethlehem Area Public Library. The scenic route takes runners from the library north on N New St, turning onto W Broad, and heading down Main St. to the D&L Trail before looping back to finish at Sand Island.
Not only is this event a fantastic opportunity to enjoy a day of health and fitness, but it also benefits local students through the Morning Star Rotary's programs. Proceeds support scholarships, STEM and leadership camps, and more, enriching the lives of youth in the community. The first 150 entrants will receive commemorative T-shirts, and there will be awards for age groups and overall winners. After the race, participants can relax and enjoy the festivities at the Celtic Classic and Historic Downtown Bethlehem. Join us for a memorable day

COMMUNITY BENEFIT: PROCEEDS GO TOWARDS MORNING STAR ROTARY'S PROGRAMS FOR LOCAL STUDENTS. We offer scholarships to college, sponsor STEM and leadership camps for middle and high schoolers, organize international exchanges between families, and offer a speech contest with monetary prizes.
Be a part of this unique experience featuring chip timing, then spend the rest of the day enjoying the Celtic Classic and Historic Downtown Bethlehem.
