Participants can choose from three fantastic distances: the challenging Half Marathon starting at 6:30 AM, or the 10K and 5K Run/Walk beginning at 6:45 AM. The mostly flat course features a few modest hills to keep things interesting and is equipped with water stations, mile markers, and course monitors for a safe and enjoyable experience. With early registration fees starting as low as $25 for the 5K, there’s no better reason to lace up your running shoes and get involved in this uplifting community event! THE 20TH ANNUAL HUNGRY DUCK RACE BENEFIT OUR LOCAL NON-PROFIT PARTNERS IN THE FIGHT AGAINST HUNGER. TOGETHER WE CAN RUN OR WALK FOR AN INCREDIBLE CAUSE TO HELP OUR COMMUNITY.
The course starts in downtown Brighton, continuing into local scenic areas and returning downtown to finish. Course is mostly paved with portions on hard-packed dirt roads; mostly flat with a few "modest" hills to add a little challenge. The half marathon course will be closed at 9:45am. There are water stations, mile markers, and course monitors along the way!
