Join us for the 30th Annual Smith McMillan 5K on Saturday, October 24, 2026, in the vibrant city of Wilmington, New Castle! This cherished event not only celebrates a legacy but also supports the financial aid endowment in memory of beloved siblings Jonathan Bacon Smith and Wendy Smith McMillan. Kicking off the festive Homecoming Weekend at WFS, the race promises excitement and camaraderie for all participants.
The day begins with the "Kids Dash" at 8:10 a.m., offering free entry for children, followed by the main race at 8:30 a.m. Runners of all ages are encouraged to join, with awards presented to the top overall male and female finishers, as well as to alumni, faculty, staff, and various age group categories. Be part of this uplifting community event that combines fitness, fun, and philanthropy, and make lasting memories at the start line!

This special race, run in memory of siblings Jonathan Bacon Smith 83 and Wendy Smith McMillan 77, benefits the financial aid endowment named for them.
