Located in the heart of Nacogdoches, this festive event honors the beloved tradition of Dia de Los Muertos, a joyful celebration where families gather to remember and celebrate the lives of their departed loved ones. Participants can choose between two exciting race distances: the 1-mile fun run starting at 8:00 AM or the more challenging 5K race kicking off at 8:30 AM.
The starting line is set at 507 E. Hospital St., right next to the Fredonia Brewery, making it a perfect spot for friends and family to join the fun. Don’t miss the chance to grab a t-shirt as the first 100 5K registrants will receive one, while all participants will take home a participation medal upon completing their race. Plus, top finishers in the 5K will be recognized with awards! Join us for a day filled with community spirit, vibrant traditions, and an exhilarating run that celebrates life and remembrance.

D'ia de Los Muertos (Day of the Dead), is a time when families gather to honor and remember deceased loved ones. It is believed that the souls of the dead return to visit the living families in homes, businesses and cemeteries. This is a joyful festivity for families and the community.
LOCATION OF THE RUN: 507 E. HOSPITAL St. Nacogdoches, TX 75961 (East side of Fredonia Brewery)
PACKET PICKUP: 11/01/24. FROM: 4:00 PM TO 6:30 PM Packet pickup will be the at FREDONIA BREWERY 507 E. HOSPITAL ST NACOGDOCHES TX 75961 and morning of race from 6:30 AM - 7:45 AM
SHIRTS:ONLY THE FIRST 100 5K Participants to register are guaranteed a t-shirt. Participants running the 1 miler will not receive a shirt.
NO REFUNDS ARE ALLOWED FOR THIS RACE!!
AWARDS and MEDALS: ALL 5K and 1-mile participants will receive participation medals upon completion of their distance. We will have awards for the top overall male and female finishers for the 5K. We will also be giving out awards for each age group for the 5K.
Race Day Timeline: Start time: 1 mile begins at 8 am and the 5K begins at 8:30 am
RACE DAY REGISTRATION: Race Day registration will be available until 7:30 am
