Join us for the 8th Annual WCA Turkey Trot, a fun-filled event taking place from October 26 to November 20, 2026, in Bowie, Prince George's. This exciting walk-a-thon invites K2 to 12th-grade students and their families to put on their walking shoes and participate in a community tradition that promotes health, wellness, and togetherness.
With a goal to raise $20,000, every step taken will help enhance the educational experience at Woodstream Christian Academy, funding vital resources like technology, performing arts, and kitchen improvements. This year, let's rally together for 100% participation and make it a memorable event—who knows, we might even see Mr. Robinson dressed as a turkey! Register today and be a part of this uplifting journey that benefits our students and strengthens our community.

HISTORY OF THE WCA WALK-A-THON
The WCA walkathon originated in 2016 and helped raise funds for the physical education department. Each year since then the event has raised funds to purchase Chromebooks, recess equipment, fine arts equipment, and improvements to WCA's kitchen. With help from donors, we can continue to provide quality educational experiences for the students at WCA. Register today and experience a community tradition of health, wellness, and togetherness.
