Whether you choose to complete the 3.1-mile distance on the scenic Doodle Trail, in your neighborhood, or at your local track, you'll be part of a community dedicated to supporting a great cause.
The race begins at 8 AM, with awards for the top male and female finishers starting at 9 AM. All proceeds from this event will benefit Alabaster House, making your participation even more meaningful. Registration is just $30, and you can pick up your event t-shirt at packet pick-up from 6:30 to 7:30 AM on race day or have it mailed to you. WE REGRET TO INFORM RACE PARTICIPANTS THAT THE 9TH ANNUAL RUN FOR MISSIONS 5K HAS BEEN CANCELED. THE DOODLE TRAIL WAS HEAVILY IMPACTED BY TROPICAL STORM HELENE AND IS IMPASSABLE.
THE RACE IS BEING CHANGED TO A VIRTUAL RACE. WHEN IT IS SAFE TO RUN ON THE TRAIL, AROUND YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD, OR AT THE TRACK, PUT IN 3.1 MILES AND LOG YOUR TIME. WE WILL STILL HAVE FIRST PLACE MALE AND FIRST PLACE FEMALE AWARDS. YOU CAN PICK UP YOUR T-SHIRT OR WE CAN MAIL IT TO YOU.
THIS RACE TAKES PLACE ON THE SCENIC DOODLE TRAIL AND IS FLAT AND FAST! IT IS AN OUT-AND-BACK COURSE BEGINNING AND ENDING AT UNITED WESLEYAN CHURCH 738 RICE ROAD EASLEY SC 29640. CLOSEDCome join us for a fast, flat, and fun 5k! Don't be surprised if you hit a personal best! All proceeds will be given to the Hope Women's Center. Awards will be given for 1st-3rd place finishers in 5 year age categories as well as overall male and female winners. We welcome fur babies but not bicycles. We will have snacks and door prizes immediately following the race so stick around!
