The Because We Care Childhood Cancer Awareness Walk is more than just an event, its a powerful movement of compassion, community, and unwavering support for children bravely fighting cancer. Together, we gather to honor their strength, uplift their families, and stand united in the belief that no child should fight alone.
This year, were elevating the experience to bring even more impact and connection to our community. EVERY REGISTERED PARTICIPANT WILL RECEIVE A FREE EVENT T-SHIRT, A COMPLIMENTARY MEAL AND DRINK, AND 10 DOOR PRIZE TICKETS, because we want every person who shows up to feel valued and appreciated for being part of this mission.
Beyond the walk, the day will be filled with meaningful moments and family-friendly activities, including local vendors, games, bounce houses, popcorn, cotton candy, and new this year, an EXCITING CAR SHOW that brings an extra layer of energy and engagement to the event.

OPENS 13 APRThis event will take place rain or shine, We will be inside< and we encourage all participants to come prepared for tons of fun. Parking will be available on-site, and event volunteers will be present to assist with check-in and directions throughout the day. Check-in will begin prior to the event start time, and we recommend arriving 30 minutes early to enjoy all activities and ensure you receive your event t-shirt, meal, drink, and door prize tickets. This is a family-friendly event designed for all ages and abilities and your presence makes a meaningful impact. Please note that by registering, participants acknowledge that photos and videos may be taken during the event and used for promotional and awareness purposes by the We Care Foundation. Most importantly, this event is about community, compassion, and standing together for children battling cancer. Every step taken and every dollar raised directly supports families in our area who need it most.
