Get ready for an exhilarating day of cycling at the 3rd Annual Bike City Century Ride on Sunday, May 3, 2026, in beautiful Inverness, Citrus! Kicking off from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM, this event welcomes cyclists of all levels to enjoy the stunning Withlacoochee State Trail, renowned as Florida's longest paved trail and recognized by National Geographic as one of the top 20 trails in the United States.
Participants can choose from a variety of race distances, including a scenic 14-mile loop to historic Floral City, a fully supported 28-mile ride to Nobleton, a popular 48-mile option with food and beverage support at Ridge Manor, or challenge yourself with the metric century (100 kilometers) or the full century (100 miles). The ride will feature multiple SAG stops, ensuring everyone stays fueled and hydrated. Plus, enjoy a delicious continental breakfast and lunch at the Train Station Patio, along with a custom event shirt and opportunities for prizes! Join the fun and help support the Rotary Club of Downtown Inverness while making unforgettable memories on this fantastic ride through the heart of Florida's picturesque landscape.

THE WITHLACOOCHEE STATE TRAIL IS THE LONGEST PAVED TRAIL IN FLORIDA AND LISTED IN NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC'S TRAVELER MAGAZINE AS ONE OF THE TOP 20 TRAILS IN THE UNITED STATES. THE WORLD WILDLIFE FUND SAYS OUR TRAIL IS "ONE OF THE COOLEST PLACES YOU'VE EVER SEEN".
THE RIDE BEGINS AT THE TRAIN STATION RESTAURANT/AMUSEMENT FACILITY WITH ADDITIONAL SAG STOPS AT AROUND THE RIDGE MANOR, ISTACHATTA, AND CITRUS SPRINGS AREAS. THIS PAVED WITHLACOOCHEE STATE TRAIL WINDS THROUGH PASCO, HERNANDO AND CITRUS COUNTIES IN WEST CENTRAL FLORIDA. THE TRAIL HEAD IS 2/10 MILE NORTH OF THE OLD HISTORIC COURTHOUSE IN DOWNTOWN INVERNESS. PROCEEDS TO BENEFIT THE ROTARY CLUB OF DOWNTOWN INVERNESS.

FOR THOSE WANTING TO DO A METRIC CENTURY.

CLOSED14 Miles: Heading South from the Trailhead, take our shortest loop and enjoy a scenic ride to Historic Floral City. 28 Miles: Enjoy a fully supported SAG stop at the small town of Nobleton, including a park and restrooms! 48 Miles: This is our most popular distance and the SAG stop is located at Ridge Manor Trailhead (24 miles South) with large food and beverage support. 100 kilometers (62.13 miles): For those wanting to do a Metric Century. 100 Miles: For the more serious rider. Ride the trail from end to end and complete this 50 mile stretch out and back with limited road crossings and plenty of wide open space to spin your wheels. Century Challenge: Riders who complete the 100 Mile and 100K route will receive a commemorative Century Finisher item to display proudly. -
