Get ready for an exhilarating day of cycling at the 3rd Annual Bike City Century Ride on Sunday, May 3, 2026, in beautiful Inverness, Florida! This exciting event promises fun for all ages, including a delightful Kids Bicycle Rodeo, making it a perfect family outing. Riders can choose from a variety of distances, including 14 miles, 28 miles, 48 miles, a metric century of 100 kilometers (62.13 miles), or a challenging 100 miles for the seasoned cyclists.

The ride kicks off between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM at the Inverness Train Station, with early packet pickup available on May 1. Participants will enjoy a scenic route along the Withlacoochee State Trail, renowned as one of the top trails in the U.S., winding through stunning landscapes of Pasco, Hernando, and Citrus counties. Enjoy a complimentary continental breakfast, lunch at the train station patio, and hydration stations along the route, making this a fully supported ride. Plus, participants who complete the 100-mile or 100K route will receive a special commemorative finisher award! DAY OF RIDE REGISTRATION, CHECK-IN, AND PACKET PICK-UP: 7:00 AM 9:00 AM AT THE INVERNESS TRAIN STATION, 218 N APOPKA AVE, INVERNESS, FL.

THE WITHLACOOCHEE STATE TRAIL IS THE LONGEST PAVED TRAIL IN FLORIDA AND LISTED IN NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC'S TRAVELER MAGAZINE AS ONE OF THE TOP 20 TRAILS IN THE UNITED STATES. THE WORLD WILDLIFE FUND SAYS OUR TRAIL IS "ONE OF THE COOLEST PLACES YOU'VE EVER SEEN".

THE RIDE BEGINS AT THE TRAIN STATION RESTAURANT/AMUSEMENT FACILITY WITH ADDITIONAL SAG STOPS AT AROUND THE RIDGE MANOR, ISTACHATTA, AND CITRUS SPRINGS AREAS. THIS PAVED WITHLACOOCHEE STATE TRAIL WINDS THROUGH PASCO, HERNANDO AND CITRUS COUNTIES IN WEST CENTRAL FLORIDA. THE TRAIL HEAD IS 2/10 MILE NORTH OF THE OLD HISTORIC COURTHOUSE IN DOWNTOWN INVERNESS. PROCEEDS TO BENEFIT THE ROTARY CLUB OF DOWNTOWN INVERNESS.

HEADING SOUTH FROM THE TRAILHEAD, TAKE OUR SHORTEST LOOP AND ENJOY A SCENIC RIDE TO HISTORIC FLORAL CITY.

28 MILES:
ENJOY A FULLY SUPPORTED SAG STOP AT THE SMALL TOWN OF NOBLETON, INCLUDING A PARK, MUSIC, AND RESTROOMS!

48 MILES:
THIS IS OUR MOST POPULAR DISTANCE AND THE SAG STOP IS LOCATED AT RIDGE MANOR TRAILHEAD (24 MILES SOUTH) WITH LARGE FOOD AND BEVERAGE SUPPORT.

100 KILOMETERS (62.13 MILES)
FOR THOSE WANTING TO DO A METRIC CENTURY.

100 MILES
FOR THE MORE SERIOUS RIDER. RIDE THE TRAIL FROM END TO END AND COMPLETE THIS 50 MILE STRETCH OUT AND BACK WITH LIMITED ROAD CROSSINGS AND PLENTY OF WIDE OPEN SPACE TO SPIN YOUR WHEELS.

    14 Miles: Heading South from the Trailhead, take our shortest loop and enjoy a scenic ride to Historic Floral City. 28 Miles: Enjoy a fully supported SAG stop at the small town of Nobleton, including a park and restrooms! 48 Miles: This is our most popular distance and the SAG stop is located at Ridge Manor Trailhead (24 miles South) with large food and beverage support. 100 kilometers (62.13 miles): For those wanting to do a Metric Century. 100 Miles: For the more serious rider. Ride the trail from end to end and complete this 50 mile stretch out and back with limited road crossings and plenty of wide open space to spin your wheels. Century Challenge: Riders who complete the 100 Mile and 100K route will receive a commemorative Century Finisher item to display proudly.
