Get ready for an exhilarating day of cycling at the fifth annual Bike the Bridge event on Saturday, April 5, 2025, in the beautiful setting of Williamsburg, James City County! From 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., participants will embark on scenic routes that start in James City County, cross the picturesque Chickahominy River, and meander through the charming landscapes of Charles City County along the Virginia Capital Trail. Whether you're a seasoned cyclist or a casual rider, you can choose from three exciting distance options: 15, 25, or 50 miles.
Parking, rider check-in, and a delicious lunch will be available at Jamestown Beach Event Park, located at 2205 Jamestown Rd, Williamsburg, VA 23185. Registration includes light refreshments, an event t-shirt, and a hearty lunch to refuel after your ride. Make sure to check in at the designated times for your chosen route: 50-mile riders from 8-9 a.m., 25-mile riders from 8:30-9:30 a.m., and 15-mile riders from 9:30-10 a.m. Join us for a day of fun, fitness, and community spirit as we celebrate

Join James City County Parks & Recreation in the fifth annual Bike the Bridge event taking place Saturday, April 5 from 8 a.m. - 1 p.m. The route will start in James City County, cross the Chickahominy River and enter into Charles City County along the Virginia Capital Trail. Routes options include 15, 25 and 50 miles. Parking, rider check-in and lunch will be located at Jamestown Beach Event Park, 2205 Jamestown Rd, Williamsburg, VA 23185. Light refreshments, event t-shirt and lunch are included with rider registration.

Three route options are available including 15, 25 and 50-mile routes--be sure to select your distance when you register. For event specific questions, call 757-259-5355 or email [email protected]. Race check in and parking is located near the entrance of Jamestown Beach Event Park (2205 Jamestown Rd). All riders need to physically check in to receive route guidance, t-shirt and lunch coupon. Lunch distribution will also take place at the check in location.
