Join us for the Braveheart CAC 3rd Annual Superhero 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at Baker Park in Kewanee, Henry! This exciting event is not just a race; it's a powerful opportunity to raise awareness about child abuse, sexual assault, and mental health in our community. Lace up your running shoes and get ready for a fantastic day filled with fun, fitness, and family-friendly activities.
The day kicks off at 9:00 AM with a Community Resource Fair featuring local partners, followed by the 5K Run/Walk at 10:00 AM. Kids won't be left out, as they can join the Complimentary Kids Fun Run at 11:00 AM or right after the final 5K finisher crosses the line. Participants can look forward to awards for the top three finishers, exciting "Minute to Win It" games, and goodie bags for all kids in the fun run! Don’t forget to wear your superhero costume and make a difference while enjoying a memorable day. All proceeds benefit Braveheart CAC, and the event will take place rain or shine. Be part of this uplifting event and help us create a brighter future for our community!
