Get ready to lace up your running shoes for a fantastic cause at the Braveheart CAC 4th Annual Superhero 5K Run/Walk! Join us on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at Baker Park in Kewanee, Illinois, for a day filled with fun, fitness, and community spirit. This exciting event aims to raise awareness about child abuse, sexual assault, and mental health, making it a meaningful way to give back while enjoying a great day outdoors.
The day kicks off at 9:00 AM with a Community Resource Fair featuring local partners, followed by the 5K Run/Walk at 10:00 AM. Families are welcome to participate in the complimentary Kids Fun Run at 11:00 AM, where every little superhero will receive a goodie bag! With awards for the top three finishers in the 5K and engaging activities like "Minute to Win It" games, there’s something for everyone. Don’t forget to wear your favorite superhero costume to spread positivity and inspire others! All proceeds from this event will directly benefit Braveheart CAC, so come out, have fun, and make a difference in your community!
