Join us for the Braveheart CAC 4th Annual Superhero 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at Baker Park in Kewanee, Henry! This vibrant event aims to raise awareness about child abuse, sexual assault, and mental health within our community while promoting health and fitness. Lace up your running shoes for a heart-pounding 5K run or a leisurely walk, starting at 10:00 AM. If you're bringing the kids, don't miss the complimentary Kids Fun Run at 11:00 AM, where every young participant will receive a goodie bag!
The day kicks off at 9:00 AM with a Community Resource Fair featuring local partners dedicated to making a difference. Runners will have the chance to earn awards, with special recognition for the top three finishers in the 5K. Plus, family-friendly activities and exciting "Minute to Win It" games await everyone! Don your favorite superhero costume and join us for a day of fun, fitness, and community spirit—all while supporting an important cause. Remember, this is a rain-or-shine event, so come out and make a positive impact in Kewanee!
