Each team will receive a baton equipped with a timing chip, making it easy to track your progress as you cheer each other on. The only requirement is for each team member to run at least one loop, ensuring everyone can participate at their own pace. While there won't be any shirts to keep registration fees low, exciting awards will be announced for top-performing teams. Organiser's Description
With the LMCU Bridge Run next month, we wanted to provide the community with an opportunity to train for the 10 Miler, with friends! The Brian Diemer Family of Events introduces the Brilay, the Bridge Run Relay. This 10-mile relay is designed to have teams of 6-10, 3-5, and 2 persons, with a solo option. With team categories of male, female and Coed. It all takes place on a 1 mile paved loop at Pinery Park.
Teams are encouraged to have FUN with the event. Teams will be issued a baton with a timing chip when they check into the race. In the spirit of keeping it easy, we only require each team member to run at least one loop; a Coed team is simply having mixed genders.
To keep registration fees low for everyone, there will be no shirt. Stay tuned for information on team awards.
