Get ready to lace up your running shoes for the Broomall's Rotary 4th of July 5K Run on Saturday, July 4, 2026! Taking place in the charming community of Broomall, Delaware, this exciting 5-kilometer race is not only a fantastic way to celebrate Independence Day but also supports a great cause. Proceeds from the event will benefit Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation, dedicated to fighting childhood cancer.
The Firecracker 5K Run will kick off just before the Marple-Newtown 4th of July Parade, creating a festive atmosphere filled with community spirit. Participants can look forward to competitive prizes for the top three male and female finishers overall, as well as age group awards for categories ranging from 14 & Under to 70+. Don’t forget to pick up your race packet on July 2 and 3, or on race day morning at the Broomall Fire Company. Join us for a day of fitness, fun, and community at this beloved annual event!

The Broomall Rotary has been performing community service work since 1961. The race proceeds from the 2026 Firecracker 5k Run will fund Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation.
The Broomall Rotary's Firecracker 5K is a 5 kilometer running event that will precede the Marple-Newtown 4th of July Parade. The parade and race day is Saturday, July 4, 2026.
