Proceeds of this race benefit Bruins on the Run (an after school running and mentoring program for 5th graders). It also benefits the Bartlesville Public Schools Foundation. The BPS Foundation covers the costs.

The Bartlesville Public Schools Foundation covers the costs of this program for students - race registrations, new running shoes, t-shirts and more. Bruins on the Run will be participating in this race along with a large number of Bartlesville Public Schools staff. The community is encouraged to come out and run, or at least cheer them on! Donations made to the Bartlesville Public Schools Foundation are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.
