Kicking off on Thursday, June 5, 2025, this vibrant event invites runners of all levels to experience the thrill of a twilight race every Thursday evening throughout June. Each race will begin at 6:30 PM at the iconic Willson Field track at The Citadel, providing a picturesque setting for participants.
The USATF certified 5K course features a unique route that starts on the track, takes runners through the historic Summerall Gate, and allows them to enjoy a lap around the beautiful Hampton Park before returning to the campus for a final lap and an exhilarating finish. Join us for this four-week series on June 5, 12, 19, and 26, with same-day registration available from 5:00 PM to 6:15 PM. Organiser's Description
Come join us for a 5K twilight series on Thursday nights this summer starting on June 5. The race will begin promptly at 6:30pm at the finish line at the track on Willson Field at The Citadel. Race nights will be June 5, June 12, June 19, and June 26.
The Course
This USATF certified 5K begins on the track at The Citadel, where participants will run a lap around campus, go through Summerall gate of The Citadel, run 1 lap around Hampton Park, come back through Summerall gate of The Citadel and then run another lap on campus, finishing on the track.
Parking
Parking will be available near Willson Field at The Citadel.
Day of Race Registration
Registration the day of the race will be available from 5:00-6:15pm on Willson Field at The Citadel. The fee will be $50 without a T-shirt.
Packet Pick-up
Race numbers and packets can be picked up from 5:00-6:15pm on the day of the race at Willson Field at The Citadel.
Water and Restrooms
Water stops will be available throughout the course and near the finish. Restrooms will be available near Willson Field.
Results
Results will be posted on www.timinginc.com as soon as computations are complete.
