Get ready for an exciting day of fun and fitness at the Capital City Kids Triathlon on Saturday, August 23, 2025, in beautiful Lansing, Ingham! This vibrant youth triathlon is designed for children aged 14 and under, featuring age-appropriate distances that ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants.

The event takes place entirely within the scenic Hawk Island Park, where young athletes will swim, bike, and run in a supportive environment. Younger kids aged 6 and under will begin with a 25m shallow swim, followed by a 100m bike ride and a 100m run. For those aged 10 and under, the challenge increases to a 100m swim, a 3-mile bike ride, and a 0.5-mile run. The oldest age group, 14 and under, will tackle a 200m swim, a 4.5-mile bike ride, and a 1-mile run. Participants will enjoy race timing, a stylish race T-shirt, finisher medals, a swag bag, downloadable photographs, and tasty snacks after the race.
