The event takes place entirely within the scenic Hawk Island Park, where young athletes will swim, bike, and run in a supportive environment. Younger kids aged 6 and under will begin with a 25m shallow swim, followed by a 100m bike ride and a 100m run. For those aged 10 and under, the challenge increases to a 100m swim, a 3-mile bike ride, and a 0.5-mile run. The oldest age group, 14 and under, will tackle a 200m swim, a 4.5-mile bike ride, and a 1-mile run. Participants will enjoy race timing, a stylish race T-shirt, finisher medals, a swag bag, downloadable photographs, and tasty snacks after the race. Organiser's Description
Youth Triathlon with age appropriate distances for kids 14 and under. The entire event is contained within Hawk Island Park. The swim is within the pre-set Hawk Island Park swim area with the ability to touch the bottom and with lifeguards present.
Kids 6 and under: 25m shallow swim, 100m bike, 100m run.
Kids 10 and under: 100m shallow swim, 3 mile bike, .5 mile run
Kids 14 and under: 200m swim, 4.5 mile bike, 1 mile run
Race entry includes race timing, a race Tshirt, finisher medals, swag bag, photographs posted for download and after race snacks.
