Get ready for an exhilarating experience at the CHASE THE SHADOW! FUN RUN on Sunday, May 11, 2025, in beautiful Fort Wayne, Allen. This exciting event invites participants of all fitness levels to join in a free, untimed fun run, walk, or roll. With a limited capacity of just 88 participants, this unique challenge requires you to complete a 5K route before the shadow takes off at 1:00 PM, with your own start at 1:05 PM.
Follow a bicycle lead along the scenic Fort Wayne Trails Network, where the route will be clearly marked. While there won't be a police presence, safety is key, so remember to follow traffic laws at road crossings. Fun trophies will be awarded to the top male and female finishers, as well as the first boy and girl under 13! This is the perfect opportunity to don your best ninja outfit, a stylish tuxedo t-shirt, or simply a classic black tee, as participants are encouraged to dress in black for this special occasion. Bring your smartphone or fitness wearable to track your adventure and share your experience on social media. HOW DOES IS WORK?
THE RULES ARE PRETTY SIMPLE. JUST FINISH THE 5K ROUTE BEFORE THE SHADOW.
