Chemo Buddies HOPEFEST 2025: A Celebration of Strength and Community
Join us for the 7th annual Chemo Buddies HOPEFEST, presented by Ascension St. Vincent Hospital, on April 26, 2025, at Friedman Park in Newburgh. This heartwarming community event is dedicated to all those touched by cancersurvivors, patients, caregivers, family, friends, and co-workers.
Event Highlights:
_5K Run/Walk:_ Start the day off right with a 5K through the scenic park, beginning at 8:30 am.
_Survivors Parade:_ Celebrate our cancer warriors in the signature Survivor's Parade, starting at 10:30 am.
_1-Mile Walk:_ Continue the celebration with a fun 1-mile walk, starting at 11:00 am.
_Cruise-In Car Show:_ Enjoy some cool cars and great company.
_Food Trucks: _Treat your taste buds to a variety of delicious options.
_Self-Care Tent:_ Relax and unwind with self-care treatments for caregivers, patients, and survivors.
_Kids Activities: _Face painting, inflatables, and more for the younger attendees!
This event promises to be a day full of joy, encouragement, and support. Whether youre walking, cheering, or simply enjoying the festivities, its an opportunity to connect, celebrate, and lift each other up in the fight against cancer.
Please note: The event is rain or shine. There are no refunds. Shirts, medals, and other swag are available only as supplies last. Please register before April 1 to ensure you will receive these items! THOSE WHO REGISTER AFTER APRIL 1 CAN CHECK AT THE REGISTRATION TABLE ON EVENT DAY FOR AVAILABILITY!
T-SHIRTS AND MEDALS
All registrations for the 5K, 1-mile walk, and Survivors Parade will receive a short-sleeved cotton t-shirt!
Finishing medals will be given to the ALL SURVIVORS.
All registrations on or before April 1, 2024, will be guaranteed a T-shirt. Those who register after April 1 can check at registration the day of the event for t-shirt availability.
