Participants will enjoy stunning views of the Appomattox River as they navigate through downtown Hopewell and the historic City Point area. Don’t forget to pick up your race packet on Friday, October 10th, to ensure you’re ready to go on race day! Early registration is encouraged to secure your T-shirt and avoid late fees. With registration fees starting at just $25 for adults in the 5k and $40 for the 10k, this is an event you won’t want to miss. Mark your calendars for a day filled with community spirit, health, and a celebration of active living!
Organiser's Description
The City Point 5k, 10k, 1/4 mile, Kids Fun Run and Kinder Dash are brought to you by the collaboration of John Randolph Foundation, Hopewell Recreation and Parks, City of Hopewell and Tri-Cities Road Runners. The City Point Races, Kids Fun Run and Kinder Dash attract participation from runners, joggers and walkers from all across Central Virginia! The 5k and 10k provide participants with a breathtaking view of the Appomattox River while exploring downtown Hopewell and historic City Point.
We encourage participants to pick up their packets on Friday, October 10th.

8:30-10:30 - there will not be an awards ceremony for the 5k or 10k, but you can check your results (or the results board onsite) and walk to the stage to retrieve your age group award.
