Get ready for a fantastic day of fitness and fun at the 48th Annual Shiawassee Family YMCA Curwood Festival Run on Saturday, June 7, 2025, in beautiful Owosso, Shiawassee! This exciting event offers a variety of race distances to suit all levels of runners and walkers, featuring a Half Marathon, 10K Run, 5K Run, 5K Walk, and a Fun Run. Kick off your morning with the Half Marathon and 10K starting at 8:00 am, followed by the 5K Run and Walk at 8:30 am, and the Fun Run at 9:00 am.
Don’t miss your chance to be part of this vibrant community event! Pre-registration is available until May 31st for $45, with late registration from June 1st to June 6th for $50 (shirts not guaranteed after May 31st). The Fun Run is just $15 and includes a t-shirt. Remember, there will be no race day registration, so be sure to secure your spot in advance! The race will start east of Huntington Bank on Jerome Ave, with updated course maps available online. With awards for the top finishers

COST: Pre-Registration until May 31st - $45. Late registration June 1st to June 6th - $50 (no guarantee on shirt). Price for the Fun Run is $15 and includes t-shirt (no guarantee on shirt if you register after May 31st). THE COST FOR THE EVENT INCLUDES A SHIRT (WHEN YOU REGISTER BY MAY 31ST)

WASHINGTON STREET IS CLOSED DUE TO CONSTRUCTION, PLEASE ALLOW YOURSELF EXTRA TIME GETTING TO THE RACE SO THAT WE CAN START ALL RACES ON TIME. _

PACKET PICK UP: Early packet pickup is on Friday, June 6th from 4pm to 7pm at the Shiawassee Family YMCA, 515 West Main Street, Owosso. Race day pickup begins at 7am at the race site. Please note the location of the packet pickup that you choose.

AWARDS: For 1st, 2nd, 3rd in each gender/age category. We will also have a Top Male Overall and Top Female Overall for each race.
NO PETS OR STROLLERS, PLEASE.
The race will be chip timed by the MICHIGAN RUNNING FOUNDATION [https://www.facebook.com/michiganrunningfoundation/]. Results will be posted live during the race on this site.

CLOSEDCOURSE: Due to construction, the event will now start and end just east of Huntington Bank on Jerome Ave, behind the large parking lot. The race follows the river trail to Corunna, through side streets and back along the trail to the beginning. The course is fast and mostly flat, consisting of 50% blacktop street and 50% hard-packed dirt. -
