Participants of all ages are encouraged to take part, whether you choose to run or walk, as we unite to support a vital cause.
Registration is open now, with pre-registration fees set at just $20 for ages 18 and up, and $10 for those 17 and under, until May 23, 2025. After that, prices will increase, so be sure to secure your spot early! All proceeds will benefit the Coplin Health Systems Diabetes Program and the Ravenswood Recreation Youth Program. Organiser's Description
The 9th Annual Dash for Diabetes 5k Run/Walk put on by Coplin Health Systems Diabetes Initiative will be on June 14th at 8:30 a.m. at Riverfront Park in Ravenswood, WV. The Dash for Diabetes route follows the 3.1 miles route along the Ohio River in Ravenswood, West Virginia. Again this year, Coplin will be teaming up with Ravenswood Recreation Youth Program to spread awareness for the nationwide epidemic of diabetes. Unbeknownst to most, one of the best ways to prevent diabetes is through exercise!
So, what better ways to raise awareness and teach prevention than through a 5K Run/Walk! Join us for a great morning and while supporting great causes.
