Get ready to celebrate Thanksgiving in a fun and active way at the 9th Annual Delco Turkey Trot™ on November 27, 2025, in Wallingford, Delaware County! This family-friendly event, held at Nether Providence Elementary School, promises to be the biggest Thanksgiving Day 5K in the area. Participants can choose from two exciting race options: a 5K road race perfect for runners, walkers, and families, or the 1 Mile Little Drumstick Run designed especially for younger participants. Strollers are welcome, making it a great outing for everyone!
Race day kicks off with the Little Drumstick Run at 8:30 AM, followed by the 5K at 9:00 AM. Don't forget to arrive early for parking and bib pick-up to ensure a smooth start to your Thanksgiving festivities. With registration fees starting at just $15 for kids and $30 for adults, and proceeds benefitting the Nether Providence Elementary School PTO, your participation directly supports local students. Plus, all registrants will receive a race t-shirt—just be sure to register by October 31 to guarantee yours! To keep our runners and volunteers safe, there will be NO PARKING AT NETHER PROVIDENCE ELEMENTARY THIS YEAR.
But great news our friends at CREEKSIDE SWIM CLUB and DUCKLINGS WALLINGFORD have generously opened their lots for Delco Turkey Trot participants!
You can also find parking along nearby side streets not used in the race route just please be courteous to our neighbors and avoid blocking driveways. If you can, carpool, walk, or get dropped off!

PLEASE MAKE EVERY EFFORT TO PICK UP YOUR BIB EARLY! Were expecting our biggest Turkey Trot yet day-of bib pickup will be crowded, and the races will start on time.
