With chipped timing and plenty of fun along the course, you won’t want to miss out on the festivities. The first 100 registrants will receive a complimentary event t-shirt, and additional t-shirt sales will support the Paws4Patients program, which aims to sponsor a new therapy dog at Michigan Medicine. Be sure to grab a doggy bandana designed by Lara Elmblad, and enjoy tasty baked goods, breakfast sandwiches, and doggy treats after the race. Remember to plan for a $10 vehicle entry fee unless you have a Metroparks pass. Mark your calendars and get ready for a day of fun, fitness, and community spirit!

In honor of Anders Elmblad, we are proud to host the 2nd Annual Doggy Dash 5K.
Anders passed away in 2024 at the age of 25 from glioblastoma. The therapy dogs brought him joy and comfort during his short stay at Michigan Medicine. To honor his life and continue his legacy, we are working to raise funds to sponsor a new therapy dog at Michigan Medicine through the Paws4Patients program. Proceeds from this event will directly support this cause.
This years race features chipped timing, but all ages, paces, and abilities are welcomewhether you walk, run, or jog! Strollers, kids, and of course, furry friends are encouraged to join in on the fun.
Ann Arbor T-Shirt Company has once again generously donated the first 100 event t-shirts. After that, half of all t-shirt proceeds will continue to benefit Paws4Patients, and the online store will remain open well beyond race day. Shirts purchased by 9/20 will be ready for pick-up at check-in. Lara Elmblad has also created doggy bandanas available for purchase during sign-up and on race day!
On the course, water and bananas will be provided. After the race, enjoy baked goods, breakfast sandwiches, and doggy treats available for purchaseall supporting the fundraiser.

There will be an optional packet pick-up at HOMES Campus (112 Jackson Plaza, Ann Arbor, MI 48103) on Saturday, October 4th from 9a-1p. We highly recommend stopping by, but you will still be able to check-in (& register!) on race day.
