Participants will have the option to receive a custom Ugly Sweater 5K long sleeve shirt, a cozy winter headband, and a unique finisher medal, with a new No Shirt/Headband option also available. The race kicks off at the historic Dryden Hotel, where post-race festivities await with warm treats and beer specials exclusively for participants. Additionally, your involvement supports the Dryden Rail Trail Revenue Fund, helping to enhance this beautiful community resource. Organiser's Description
Come join us for the 5th Annual Dryden Ugly Sweater 5K. This event combines "fun" and "run". Participants are not required but definitely encouraged to dress in costume (ugly sweaters) for this chilly run/walk. All race participants will have the option of receiving a custom Ugly Sweater 5K long sleeve shirt, winter headband and finisher medal. New for 2024, we have added a No Shirt/Headband option. All finishers will receive a custom finisher medal. The event will start at the Historical Dryden Hotel (Built in 1844) with most of the run/walk on the new Dryden Rail Trail. This event will benefit the Dryden Rail Trail Revenue Fund as they continue to need funding to complete and improve this beautiful Trail. All donations and a portion of the race proceeds will help this cause.
Post race fun at the Dryden Hotel immediately following your run. They will be serving up something warm and special that is always awesome and tasty. Beer specials as well. All of this free for event participants.
