Family Enrichment Center's 2024 Run & Walk for Children

Mark your calendar and begin training for the 28th Annual Family Enrichment Center Run and Walk for Children! On Friday, March 22nd we will kick things off with the Kids 100 Yard Dash, Family Expo, and a pre-race pizza party at the Ephram White gymnasium from 4-7 PM. Then, on Saturday the 23rd at 8 AM well send off our half marathon runners followed by the 5K run and fun-walk participants. Funds from this event support Family Enrichment Centers Wee Care Childcare Center. 
There are three race categories to choose from: Half Marathon (13.1 miles), 5K Run, 5K Fun Walk (3.1 miles each). The Half Marathon and 5K Run will be chip-timed by Bluegrass Timing. Participants will receive a long-sleeve race shirt and finishers medal. Participants that register before the Early-Bird Deadline (2.14.24) will also receive a complimentary ticket to the pre-race Pizza Party schedule for Friday, March 24th at the Ephram White gymnasium from 4-7 PM. Pizza Party meal tickets may be purchased for $5 each for those registering after the deadline or in need of additional tickets for non-participants.  
The Kids 100 Yard Dash, will be held in conjunction with our Pasta Party and Family Wellness Expo to better allow family members to cheer on their young runner. Registration for the Kids Dash is FREE until the Early-Bird Deadline (2.14.24) and $10 thereafter. Each participant will receive a Finishers Ribbon and placement medals will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in each age group.  Youth size shirts will be available for pre-order for only. 
The Family Wellness Expo is free to attend and open to all community members. The Expo will feature wellness vendors as well as family/child-centered organizations from the community. If you or your organization is interested in being a vendor email infofamilyenrichmentcenter.com. 
Race fees are NON-REFUNDABLE BUT MAY BE TRANSFERRED TO ANOTHER PERSON AND/OR EVENT (Event UPGRADES will result in additional fees).
