Get ready for an exhilarating day of fun and furry friends at the 11th Annual Fast and the Furriest 5k, taking place on Saturday, October 4th, 2025, in the picturesque Rountree neighborhood of Springfield, Greene. This family-friendly event welcomes participants of all ages, whether you're a seasoned athlete or just looking to enjoy a morning stroll with your beloved pets. The festivities kick off at 10 AM, starting and ending at Tie & Timber Beer Co. Participants can pick up their race packets on Friday, October 4th, between noon and 6 PM. Don’t forget your furry companions, as long as they are well-socialized and on a leash (no retractable leashes allowed). Every participant in the 5k and 1-mile races will receive a medal and shirt, while those opting for the dog run will also take home a stylish bandanna.
