This exciting annual event takes place in the beautiful town of Fenton, Genesee, and serves as the perfect lead-up to the Fenton 4th of July Parade. Whether you're a seasoned athlete or a casual weekend warrior, the 13th annual Fenton Firecracker offers something for everyone. The race kicks off at 9:45 AM, so arrive by 9:30 AM to get your bib and warm up for a day of fun and fitness.
Participants will have the choice of two distances: a competitive 5K or a family-friendly 2K. The race starts at the corner of Mill St and S. Adelaide, heading north. Don’t forget to pick up your race packet at Freedom Center Church on June 30th, or grab it early on race day starting at 7 AM. Every runner will receive a stylish T-shirt and a finisher medal to commemorate their achievement. Join us for a day of community spirit, fitness, and celebration!

The Fenton Firecracker is an annual tradition just prior to the Fenton 4TH of July Parade. Come join us for fun and fitness, then stay for the parade!
The 13th annual Fenton Firecracker 5K and 2.5K is back! This is a great race for athletes and weekend warriors alike on July 4th.
The race begins at 9:45 am so be sure to be in place with your bib on by 9:30 am. Race starts on the corner of Mill St and S. Adelaide heading north!
Packet pick up will be at Freedom Center Church, 2473 W. Shiawassee Ave, Fenton, JUNE 30TH 9 AM-12 PM OR JUNE 30TH 6PM-8PM. If you are unable to make it on that day, packets can also be picked up at 7am on the day of the race.
T-shirts and finisher medals are provided for every participant.
