On Saturday, September 6th, the Fox Chapel Parks Conservancy, in partnership with OHara Township, will host a community fun run through our scenic parks and trails. This inclusive, family-friendly event is a celebration of health, wellness, and local connection, encouraging neighbors of all ages to enjoy the outdoors together.
COURSE INFORMATION
1-MILE FUN RUN
A gentle loop through OHara Township Community Park, followed by a short out-and-back on the Salamander Trail alongside the Sycamore Run Rivera perfect route for participants of all ages and experience levels.
5K RUN
Begins with the same park loop and trail section, then continues up the Salamander Trail for a full loop around Salamander Park, returning through OHara Township Park for a final lap around the lake.
_For everyones safety, please no strollers or dogs on the course._
COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES
After the run, stick around for refreshments, music, kids activities, and local vendor booths. Meet your neighbors, visit sponsor tents, and enjoy a few surprises along the trails. All community members, friends, and families are welcome - whether youre racing or cheering from the sidelines.
The morning kicks off with a lively pre-race gathering and the singing of the national anthem.
