Freeland YMCA 20th Annual Run for the Children 5K

Join us for the 20th Annual Freeland YMCA Run for the Children on Saturday, September 13th, 2025, in the charming town of Freeland, Luzerne! This exciting event features a 5K Run/Walk that takes participants through the scenic streets of Freeland, offering a moderate course that includes some hills for a fun challenge. This year, we're thrilled to introduce two new contests: the 5K Dog Jog/Walk and a 1-Mile Family Fun Run/Walk, making it a perfect day for families and furry friends alike!

All pre-registrants for the 5K Run/Walk, Dog Jog, and Family Run/Walk will receive a commemorative Dri-fit T-shirt, ensuring you take home a piece of this memorable day.
