Join us for Gateway Centers third annual Everybody Vs. Homelessness 5K on May 4, 2024!
EVERYBODY VS. HOMELESSNESS 5K
We invite all runners and walkers to join us at Westside Park to participate in our 5K! We will have overall awards for male and female, awards by age brackets, and awards for our 100-meter Kids Force Speed Dash. Because May 4th is a day that serves as a tribute to Star Wars, we will also have an award for the best Star Wars costume.
100-METER KID'S FORCE SPEED DASH
In addition to the 5K, there will be a 100-meter Kids dash for children under 10 years of age. Because there are separate registrations for the 5K and the Kids
Force Speed Dash, please be sure and choose the correct event when registering.
VIRTUAL 5K
The Everybody Vs. Homelessness gives participants the option to walk or run the 5K anytime during the week of the race (April 29, 2024- May 4, 2024). During race week, participants can log race times, take selfies in their gear, and showcase their role in combatting homelessness. Results can be submitted by text, email or online when participants are finished.

How Can I Participate? Participants can register individually or team up with friends for additional fun. The race will begin and end at Westside Park on May 4,2024 at 8:00 AM. On race day, participants can take selfies in their t-shirts and share their support of Gateway Center using these suggested hashtags #GatewayCenter #EverybodyVsHomelessness #AWayHome and #WhyIRun. In addition, participants who are interested can create a personal fundraiser for the race. For individuals who want to contribute, but are unable to participate in the race, general donations can be made through the donation tab. -
