This exciting event takes place at the beautiful Rochester Rotary Sunshine Camp in Rush, Monroe, NY, set against the stunning backdrop of 157 acres of nature. Participants can choose from a variety of race distances, including a scenic 5K trail run and walk, a 1-mile run and walk, and even a fun 50-meter kids dash for those under 10.
Join us for a morning filled with movement, connection to nature, and a chance to support an incredible cause. Every runner will receive a bib, chip, and a stylish long-sleeve t-shirt, along with refreshments at mile markers and delicious food post-race. This event not only promotes health and wellness but also benefits the Sunshine Camp, which has been providing barrier-free camping experiences for children with disabilities since 1922. JOIN US THIS THANKSGIVING NOVEMBER 28, 2024 FOR THE SECOND ANNUAL GRATITUDE RUN HOSTED AT THE ROCHESTER ROTARY SUNSHINE CAMP.
RUN OR WALK THROUGH THE BEAUTIFUL SUNSHINE CAMP NESTLED IN 157 ACRES IN RUSH, NY. SPEND YOUR MORNING MOVING YOUR BODY, CONNECTING WITH NATURE, AND BENEFITING AN IMPACTFUL ORGANIZATION. THIS EVENT IS TIMED WITH CHIPS AND EACH PARTICIPANT WILL RECEIVE A BIB, AS WELL AS A LONG-SLEEVE T-SHIRT*. DRINKS AT MILE MARKERS (WATER, ELECTROLYTES), FOOD FOLLOWING EVENT, AND SPECIAL SURPRISE MESSAGES ALONG THE COURSE. ALL PROCEEDS OF THE EVENT WILL BE DONATED TO THE SUNSHINE CAMP.
SINCE 1922, ROCHESTER ROTARY SUNSHINE CAMP HAS PROVIDED A SUMMER CAMP WHERE CHILDREN WITH DISABILITIES CAN SIMPLY HAVE FUN, WITHOUT ANY BARRIERS. TODAY, THE SUNSHINE CAMP MEETS THE NEEDS OF THOUSANDS OF CHILDREN WITH DISABILITIES AND THEIR FAMILIES. EVERY YEAR, MORE THAN 2,500 KIDS GET THE CHANCE TO ENJOY A CAMPING EXPERIENCE THAT THEY CANNOT GET ANYWHERE ELSE.
