Register NOW for the 13th Annual Gunnison Valley Triathlon. The cost is $30.00 for kids, $65.00 for adults, and $130.00 for teams. This Sprint Triathlon is proudly brought to you by the Gunnison Parks & Recreation Department. It begins with a 500yard swim (10 laps) at the Community & Aquatics Center, then continues with a 23K (14.5-mile) bike course, and wraps up with a 6.4K (4-mile) run that finishes at the Community Center. The kid's triathlon starts at 8:30 am and the adult race starts at 10:00 am. For more information contact:

The Gunnison Valley Triathlon is a family friendly Sprint Distance Triathlon for both kids and adults. The race is staged out of the Gunnison Recreation Center 200 E. Spencer Ave with the swim being completed in the Aquatics Center. The Bike route is all on asphalt using bike path and County Road #730. The Run course uses the scenic Van Tuyl Trail system on a gravel surface. The kids race starts at 8:30am and Adult race at 9:30 am, the transition zone is staged in the lawn East of the pool and can be accessed 1.5 hours before race start. All participants will receive a t-shirt at registration, top three finishers in each age category will receive a medal. After party includes, award ceremony, food & beverages for participants, and beer/seltzer garden.
