Set in the beautiful surroundings of Burlington, Chittenden, this family-friendly event features a thrilling 5K race winding through picturesque farm fields and dirt roads in the Intervale. Participants can also enjoy a variety of activities, including a FREE Kids' 400-meter Fun Run and 1- or 2-mile Fun Runs, making it an ideal day for runners of all ages.
Race day kicks off with registration from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM, followed by the Kids' Fun Run at 10:00 AM, and the main 5K and relay events at 10:30 AM. After the races, stick around for a lively post-race celebration featuring live music, delicious snacks, and exciting kids' activities. Plus, special prizes will be awarded to top finishers in various categories! Join the Sustainability Academy on Sunday, October 19 for our 14th annual 5K down in the Intervale! Romp through farm fields and dirt roads in this family-friendly event to support place-based learning at the Sustainability Academy.
Don't feel like running? No problem! Still join us for live music, snacks, and kids' activities.
PRICING (NOTE THAT STUDENTS WHO TURN IN PLEDGE PACKETS DO NOT NEED TO REGISTER OR PAY!)
5K: $15 per adult; $5 per kid/student; $25 per family
Kids' 400-m Fun Run: FREE; no registration required
1- or 2-mile Fun Run: FREE; no registration required
2-3 Person 5K relay: Race-Day Registration Only; $10 for 2-3 kids team; $20 (2-3 person team with adults)
