Join us for the 10th annual Hickory Hammock 5K & Kids Fun Run on Sunday, September 28th, 2025, in the picturesque Winter Garden, Orange. This exciting event is exclusively for members of the gated community Hickory Hammock at Johns Lake and their friends and family. Participants can look forward to a scenic 3.1-mile run/walk that winds through the beautiful neighborhood, starting and ending at the community park.
After the main race, the fun continues with a short Kids Fun Run designed to engage our youngest participants. Everyone is invited to enjoy a delicious selection of breakfast foods and drinks to celebrate the day. Whether you're running, walking, cheering on your friends, or simply coming for the fantastic food, this is an event you won’t want to miss! Plus, all proceeds will support Edgewood Children's Ranch, making your participation even more meaningful. Come out and make lasting memories in this vibrant community event!

Trophies will be awarded as follows: 1st, 2nd & 3rd Place Overall Male 1st, 2nd & 3rd Place Overall Female After the race, participants can enjoy breakfast foods and drinks. Cost for entry to the 5K is as follows: $15 if you register by 7/28/24 $20 if you register by 9/20/24 $25 afterwards (can't guarantee shirt size & registration ends on September 27th) All proceeds for this race go to Edgewood Children's Ranch https://edgewoodranch.com/ * In the case of inclement weather, the race date will be moved to October 8th. -

After the Hickory Hammock 5K, we will hold the Kids Fun Run at the community park. All participants will receive an award. There is no cost for the fun run, but you MUST register your children. -

Sponsorship opportunity for the Hickory Hammock 5K! Your logo will be printed on the back of the commemorative T-shirt, which all participants will receive and we will also provide to you as a sponsor! The sponsors will be showcased on the FaceBook, NextDoor and RunSignUp sites and announced on the day of the event prior to the race. You are also welcome to add your business card or other small business item/sample to the participant swag bag. All proceeds from this race go to Edgewood Children's Ranch https://edgewoodranch.com/ This sponsorship opportunity ends on April 30th, so register today!
