Save the date of SUNDAY, JUNE 7TH 2026 for our 3rd annual "In Step With Sam Legacy Run where well run, walk, and gather to honor and remember Samantha Woll, z"l. Proceeds for the event will go towards THE SAM CENTER (SAMANTHA WOLL CENTER FOR JEWISH DETROIT). Registration opens in February 2026!

OPENS 01 FEBThis hilly route takes you on a 5K (3.14 mile) run to Sams Tree in the arboretum. Dedicated with love by Sams college friends, this tree sits right by the Huron River with a plaque that reads, In Honor of Samantha Sam Woll (1983-2023) who will always be remembered for her tireless activism and passion to make the world a better place. -
1 Mile Walk/Run

OPENS 01 FEBThis route takes you on a 1 mile loop around Burns Park. Sams dedication to running a mile everyday, come rain or shine, not only bestowed upon her physical benefits, but also reliably uplifted her mental healtha routine she deeply valued. -

OPENS 01 FEBIf you are not able to make it in person, you are still invited to participate virtually. T-shirts will be mailed in advance so you can run in your "instepwithsam" swag. All virtual participants will be invited to zoom at the same time and will be shown on a large screen.
