Proceeds from the event will benefit The Ballard House, a local facility providing vital support to individuals and their caregivers during medical treatment, and Ainsley's Angels, an organization dedicated to inclusion in endurance events for the special needs community. The Kids 1K race promises to be a delightful experience filled with fun, and every young runner will receive a prize at the finish line. Organiser's Description
Race proceeds will benefit The Ballard House and Ainsley's Angels of America. The Ballard House is a Katy, TX facility dedicated to providing compassionate support to individuals and their caregivers who travel to Houston, Texas for medical treatment. They offer a temporary, no-cost home away from home, fostering a warm and welcoming environment that prioritizes safety and community. Ainsleys Angels works to ensure everyone can experience endurance events and aims to build awareness about America's special needs community through inclusion in all aspects of life.

Katy Area Running Club (KARC) is a local 501(c)3 non-profit organization through our association with RRCA serving area runners and the local running community. All runners and walkers are welcomed.
