This beloved community celebration, which began with the opening of the Lake Houston Parkway bridge, has been bringing locals together for 35 fantastic years. The event features a fun family festival and exciting chip-timed races, including a 5K and an adaptive-friendly 1-mile run/walk, perfect for participants of all ages and abilities.
Kick off your race day with the 1-mile Fun Run starting at 8:00 AM, followed by the 5K at 8:30 AM, with awards presented at 9:15 AM. All race participants will receive a custom bib, a finisher medal, and an exclusive BridgeFest race shirt! Proceeds from this spirited event directly benefit the Lake Houston Family YMCA and the Rotary Club of the Lake Houston Area, making it a fantastic opportunity to support local initiatives while enjoying a day of community fun. Beginning as a celebration of the opening of the Lake Houston Parkway bridge, Bridge Fest remains a well-loved community event for the Lake Houston area. Net proceeds directly benefit the local community through the support initiatives of both the Lake Houston Family YMCA and the Rotary Club of the Lake Houston Area.
The iconic BridgeFest event has supported Lake Houston area community for 35 years. With the goal of strengthening our community, the event brings hundreds of community members together for entertainment and run/walks designed for all ages. This year, the Lake Houston YMCA and The Rotary Club of the Lake Houston Area have joined together to make it a fun and impactful event!

1) Packet pick up will be available from 10am-8pm Wednesday- Friday March 25th-27th and March 28th 6am-8am at the Lake Houston Family YMCA 2420 West Lake Houston Parkway Kingwood, TX 77339.
2) Parking is located at Creekwood Middle School (3603 W Lake Houston Pkwy, Kingwood, TX 77339) and a shuttle bus is provided continuously throughout the morning. Please allocate appropriate time to get to the YMCA prior to the start of your race event.
