This is a 2-person team challenge. You and one partner log your miles for 21 days (you don't have to run together, just run). No big group needed just one person who won't let you skip a run.

WHAT IS LE TOUR DE TAMPA?

Tampa summers are brutal. The heat index climbs, the calendar empties, and solo running motivation quietly disappears. Le Tour de Tampa fixes that.

Inspired by the Tour de France, this is a 21-day team running challenge where you and one partner commit to running together in spirit if not always in person through the hottest stretch of the Tampa summer. Each of you aims to complete 21 individual runs across 21 stages (July 427), with two built-in rest days because we're human.

You can run anywhere. Treadmill, trail, neighborhood loop it all counts. What matters is that you and your teammate show up for each other every day.

HOW THE COMPETITION WORKS

Every mile you log earns points. Every day the leaderboard updates. And there are more ways to win than you might think:

Yellow Jersey awarded to the top teams in both the Local (Tampa Bay) and International divisions, for male, female, and coed categories. Six team champions total.

Points Classification individual male and female winners in each division for most points accumulated across all 21 stages.

King/Queen of the Mountain one male and one female winner per division, based on elevation gain. Climb more, win more.

Winners receive a yellow, green, or polka dot hat to match their title. All finishers receive a race shirt and medal.

THE BASICS

One team member can log daily mileage totals for the team.
Individual competitors chasing points or King/Queen of the Mountain must enter their own miles, time, and elevation gain.
All entries must be submitted by 6am Eastern the morning after your run. Late entries won't count toward daily points but will still count toward your overall yellow jersey total.
Detailed rules will be sent in pre-challenge emails after you register.

$30 per person. Shirt + medal included. Starts July 4.
