This exciting event offers two race distances to challenge runners of all levels: a thrilling 10-mile course starting at 9:00 AM and a scenic 7-kilometer route kicking off at 9:30 AM. Both races are set against the backdrop of well-marked single track trails, ensuring a memorable experience for all participants.
Not only will you enjoy the beauty of the trails, but you'll also be supporting the park and trail system with every registration. Aid stations and enthusiastic volunteers will be on hand to keep you fueled and motivated throughout your journey. Registration fees are $50 for the 10-mile and $45 for the 7k, with an opportunity to save $20 by signing up for both the Little River and the upcoming PWTR events. The 21st Annual Little River Trail Runs will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2026 at Little River Regional Park in beautiful Rougemont, North Carolina. We have two race distances - 10 miles and 7 kilometers. Both races are run primarily on well-marked single track, and we'll have race volunteers and three aid stations along the course. As always, all proceeds from the races go towards support and maintenance of the park and trail system for the community.
COST:
$50 - 10 mi (we can not guarantee a t-shirt but we will do our best to have one for you!)
$45 - 7k (we can not guarantee a t-shirt but we will do our best to have one for you!)
Friends of the Forest Bundle - SAVE $20 by registering for both LRTR and PWTR!
