The Summit Area YMCA is thrilled to announce the return of a beloved springtime traditionthe Love and Legacy 5K, taking place on Sunday, May 4, 2025. This heartwarming event brings families and community members together to celebrate the special individuals who have shaped our lives. We are eagerly anticipating another fantastic turnout.
Since our founding in 1886, the Summit Area YMCA has been dedicated to fostering youth development, promoting healthy living, and championing social responsibility. Our commitment to inclusivity ensures that everyoneregardless of age, gender, disability, or incomehas access to the opportunities they need to thrive. Funds raised from the 5K will support critical community programs, providing financial assistance for childcare, camp, and health and wellness resources. Donations also sustain free initiatives like LIVESTRONG at the YMCA, a program for cancer survivors, and Achievers, our mentoring program for high school students.
