Join us for the exhilarating LVRR June Summer Series 5K on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, in the beautiful Lehigh Parkway, Allentown! The accurately measured 5K course features a mostly flat, cinder trail, making it ideal for both seasoned runners and those new to the sport. Race day check-in starts at 5:30 PM, with the race kicking off at 6:30 PM. Participants must be at least 10 years old, and there is a generous 60-minute time limit to complete the race. After the run, don’t miss out on the fun potluck dinner, where delicious grilled hotdogs and contributions from fellow racers await. REMAINING RACE DATES: JULY 3, AUGUST 7 & SEPTEMBER 4
This is a free 5k race series that includes 5 races held on the first Wednesday of each month from May through September.
You do not need to be an LVRR club member to participate in this series. Sign up online and come out to Lehigh Parkway for this relaxed, no-frills race.
The course is accurately measured, mostly flat, cinder trail in the Parkway.
RACE DAY CHECK-IN: Begins at 5:30 PM and ends at 6:25 PM - All runners must check in prior to the race. Please see our volunteers in bright orange vests.
AGE: Racers must be 10 years of age.
TIME LIMIT: 60 minutes (19:35 minute/mile)
START TIME: Begins at 6:30 PM with the exception of September which begins at 6:00 PM
JOIN US AFTER THE RACE FOR A POTLUCK DINNER!
Well be cooking up some hotdogs on the grill and kindly invite you to contribute to the potluck. Weve had some great contributions in the past and this is always such a nice summer evening in the park.
