Organiser's Description
Willow Running USA loves to support local area charities and not for profits and we certainly will again with this new event for 2025 (Safe Space CNY [https://www.safespacecny.org/]). We also want to celebrate Economic Development in CNY. For most of our lifetime we have seen mostly companies exit the area but with Micron Inc. coming to town to build a large scale chip plant that will employee many we thought we'd like to recognize this with a high energy 5K and 10K event that recognizes this exciting reality.
This inaugural Mic Run 5K/10K will be held at Oneida Shores on Sunday, September 14th with plenty of scenic views along both course routes. All registered participants will receive a unique custom shirt with our logo mascot "Chippy", custom finisher medal and of course, chips (of the potato variety). We plan adding a lot of "fun" to this "run" so hopefully you'll join us to add to it!
