Participants will receive commemorative race t-shirts and have the chance to win prizes for Best Dressed and the Largest Team, as well as awards for the top three male and female finishers in both overall and age group categories. After crossing the finish line, stick around for the thrilling Block Party from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM, featuring live music, delicious food trucks, and refreshing drinks. A chip timed 5K (3.1 miles) run/walk for all levels. Race will start/finish on Main Street in Downtown Midway and traverse on paved roads out into horse country and back. Commemorative race shirt while they last. Awards for Top 3 M/F Overall and Top 3 M/F in 5-year age groups. Post race block party with live music to follow the race. -
Virtual Runner/Walker

If you can't join us in person, consider participating as a virtual runner/walker. For a $30 donation you can run/walk your own Thriller 5K in your hometown and on your schedule and we'll mail you your commemorative Midway Thriller 5K T-shirt. You'll have the option of posting your virtual result online but there are no awards for this event. -

We need 6-8 enthusiastic volunteers to work a 3-hour race day shift (4:30-7:30pm) to help make this race great. Volunteers who work a full shift earn a commemorative race T-shirt.
