Event summary
As you prepare for the race, don’t forget to pick up your race packet on Friday evening from 6-8 PM or Saturday morning starting at 8 AM at Shelter A. All registered participants will receive a stylish t-shirt (if registered by September 18th) and can enjoy post-race refreshments. The event will also feature an awards ceremony for the competitive heat, celebrating the achievements of all participants. Best of all, the Myrtle Mile supports Ryzon Refuge, a faith-based nonprofit dedicated to helping mothers and children experiencing homelessness in Horry County. Join us for a day of community spirit, exercise, and support for a great cause!

Race start / finish at Forbus Ct Shelters A
9am competitive heat
9:30am fun run/walk

Ryzon Refuge is a new faith-based nonprofit serving Horry County. At Ryzon Refuge, we work collectively with the community to support the needs of mothers and their children experiencing homelessness in our community. We are currently in Phase 1, which is to build 7 tiny homes made of refurbished modern shipping containers, along with a small community center to be used for education, fellowship, and more. Our goal is to have a total of 21 tiny homes within the same community.
All proceeds will directly benefit the community through Ryzon Refuge!
