The 5K race will kick off with registration opening at 8:00 AM and closing at 8:45 AM, with pre-registered check-in available until 8:55 AM. OFFICER REEVES WAS KILLED IN THE LINE OF DUTY ON JULY 8TH 2012, LEAVING BEHIND HIS WIFE, SON, FAMILY, AND MANY FRIENDS. SINCE 2014 THE MILLVILLE POLICE DEPARTMENT HAS CHOSEN TO HONOR CHRIS (SUPERMAN) IN A SPECIAL WAY WITH A SCHOLARSHIP IN HIS NAME. THE FUNDS RAISED FROM THIS EVENT ARE AWARDED TO GRADUATING SENIORS FROM MILLVILLE SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL TO CONTINUE THEIR EDUCATION. ADDITIONAL CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE OFFICER CHRISTOPHER REEVES SCHOLARSHIP FUND CAN BE MADE AT THE "DONATE" TAB.
