Participants can choose to walk solo or create a team with family and friends as they take on the approximately one-mile course.
While there is no participation fee, you're encouraged to create a personal donation page to help support vital community programs for individuals with Autism. Your contributions will help fund collaborative programming, recreational opportunities, and resources for families in need. Join us as we walk to raise awareness and acceptance of Autism in our community — we can't wait to see you there!

Join our local community as we recognize Autism Acceptance Month at the Central New York Chapter of the Autism Society's annual "one step at a time" Autism Acceptance Walk!
WHEN: Saturday, April 25, 2026
WHERE: Jamesville Beach Park
TIME: 10:00am
HOW TO PARTICIPATE: Create your own team of family and/or friends to participate or walk solo! The walk course is approximately one mile. Please consider creating a personal donation page to help support our community programs for individuals with Autism. However, fundraising is not a requirement for participation in the Walk and there is no participation fee. As always, our main goal is to raise awareness and acceptance of Autism and its related disorders in our community. Monies raised will enable our organization to continue to enrich our community with collaborative programming, recreational opportunities, continuing education, and assistance to families seeking supports/therapies.
