Join our local community as we recognize Autism Acceptance Month at the Central New York Chapter of the Autism Society's annual "one step at a time" Autism Acceptance Walk!
WHEN: Saturday, April 25, 2026
WHERE: Jamesville Beach Park
TIME: 10:00am
HOW TO PARTICIPATE: Join us for the Autism Acceptance Walk by creating a team with family, friends, coworkers, or classmatesor participate as an individual walker. The walk course is approximately one mile and is designed to be welcoming and accessible for all ages and abilities.
Participants are encouraged (but never required) to create a personal donation page to help support our community programs for individuals with autism. There is no registration fee, and fundraising is optional. Our primary goal is to come together to promote awareness, understanding, and acceptance of autism and related disorders throughout our community.
Funds raised through the Walk directly support collaborative programming, recreational opportunities, continuing education, and assistance for families seeking services and therapies.
Walk Tshirts will be available for purchase on the day of the event for $5 while supplies last.
