"Painting the Town Red, White and Blue" Milltown Knights of Columbus 5K run

ONLINE REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED. IN PERSON REGISTRATION WILL TAKE PLACE ON JULY 4TH STARTING AT 6:30 AM AT THE MILLTOWN SENIOR CENTER WHICH IS ACROSS FROM BOROUGH PARK.

.Thank you for your interest in the "Painting the Town Red, White and Blue" Milltown 4th of July In Person and Virtual 5K Race.

We will will have an In-Person 5K race and 1K Fun Run. But we will still offer a Virtual 5K and 1K fun Run for those that would like to support our cause. As the Race is just one part of the Milltown 4th of July festivities, we hope you will join us for a day of fun, laughter and patriotism. As the race is always well attended with 500 - 1000 racers annually, it is such a big community and regional event to celebrate our country's independence day.

Please join us in supporting many local and area charities by participating in the "Painting the Town Red, White and Blue" Milltown 5K. Please note: The virtual race will run from June 1st to July 4th. Participants can complete a 5K (3.1 miles) wherever you choose to complete the run/walk. You can run in your yard, in your home, on a street, on a treadmill, wherever it is convenient to participate. We will also have our Fun Run that will start off at 7:30 am for those looking to participate but for a much shorter course of only 1 mile.

This Race is a major fundraiser for:

Our Lady of Lourdes, Knights of Columbus Council. With the funds raised by the Race we provide support to many local and area charities, support organizations and community programs such as the following.
-Make a Smile Foundation
-Milltown 4th of July Committee
-Milltown Little League
-Milltown Rescue Squad
-Food pantries in Milltown, North Brunswick and East Brunswick
-Life Choices of Metuchen
-Ozanam Mens Shelter, New Brunswick

-Lions Club Thanksgiving meal program.
-Good Counsel Homes
-Coats for Kids
-Milltown Girl and Boy Scouts

-Special Olympics
-Nicole Surace Scholarship Fund (Spotswood High School)
-And many others

Event Fees:

$30.00 5K IN-PERSON RACE and a collectible T-Shirt * for registration on or before July 2, 2024. Registrations after July 2, 2023 will be $35 per person.

$25.00 VIRTUAL 5K RACE

$10.00 1 MILE FUN RUN

Bib pickup will be at Road Runner Sports located at 501 Shoppes Blvd, North Brunswick NJ 08902. Pickup will be on July 3, 2024 from 3 pm - 7:00 pm. Race day pickup will be available on the morning of the race starting at 7 am at the Milltown Senior Center which is across from the Borough Park..

Times and winners will be posted online after the race on Bestrace.com.
